About the Role
We are looking for an AI Engineer with a strong background in AI / Data Science to join our growing team in Leuven. You will work on cutting-edge AI solutions, with a strong focus on Azure-based architectures and agentic AI systems, delivering real business value across innovative projects.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building end-to-end AI solutions, from experimentation to production, in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy AI solutions using Azure AI & data services
- Build and optimize agentic AI systems (LLM-based agents, orchestration, tools, workflows)
- Develop and productionize machine learning and AI models
- Collaborate with data engineers, product teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions
- Contribute to architecture decisions, best practices and AI governance
- Monitor, maintain and improve deployed AI models and systems
Your Profile
- 3+ years of experience as an AI Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role
- Strong experience in AI / Machine Learning and data-driven solutions
- Hands-on experience with Azure (Azure ML, Data services, AI services, or similar)
- Experience or strong interest in agentic AI, LLMs, and modern AI frameworks
- Solid programming skills (Python required)
- Ability to work from prototype to production
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
- Dutch is a plus
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-evolving AI landscape
