Accounts Payable Accountant (6-Month Contract) – International Environment
We’re currently partnering with a leading international business to find an Accounts Payable Accountant for a 6-month assignment based in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic finance team where you’ll gain exposure to both operational and strategic accounting processes, working closely with stakeholders across finance and operations.
What you’ll be doing
Processing and validating a high volume of supplier invoices
Performing three-way matching (purchase order, goods receipt, invoice)
Ensuring accurate coding of invoices (GL accounts & cost centres)
Reviewing VAT and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations
Managing supplier accounts and resolving outstanding queries
Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and process improvements
What we’re looking for
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant experience in Accounts Payable
Strong attention to detail with a structured, organised approach
Quick learner who can adapt in a fast-moving environment
Confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
Professional working proficiency in English
Nice to have
Experience working with SAP (both legacy and S/4HANA environments)
