About the Role
We are seeking an AI Production Specialist with deep, hands-on experience taking AI and machine learning solutions from experimentation to robust, scalable production systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data engineering, ML, and platform reliability.
You will work heavily with Databricks, Python, and dbt, owning the production lifecycle of AI solutions—from data pipelines and feature engineering to deployment, monitoring, and optimization in real-world environments.
What You’ll Do
- Productionise AI/ML models and data products in enterprise-grade environments
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Python, and dbt
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to transition models into production
- Implement best practices for model deployment, versioning, monitoring, and retraining
- Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of AI workloads
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and observability across AI pipelines
- Work closely with platform, cloud, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments
- Troubleshoot production issues across data, models, and infrastructure
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience productionising AI/ML solutions (not just experimentation or notebooks)
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, workflows, MLflow)
- Advanced Python skills for data processing, ML integration, and orchestration
- Solid experience with dbt for analytics engineering and data modelling
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, streaming, batch, orchestration)
- Experience operating AI systems in production (monitoring, alerting, retraining, drift detection)
- Experience within stakeholder management to deploy AI solutions
