Vivid Resourcing are working with a local authority in Yorkshire to source a Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor to join their team.
The role will cover a broad range of Adult Social Care matters, including Court of Protection proceedings and general ASC advisory work. This position is offered on a fully remote basis and will be an initial 3-month rolling contract. The authority is looking for someone who can start within the next 4 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting remote advocacy
Managing Court of Protection matters, including best interests, capacity assessments, and welfare applications
Providing clear, timely advice to senior managers, social care teams, and other council departments on a wide range of ASC issues
Preparing legal documentation, advising on statutory obligations, and supporting decision-making across ASC services
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor
Previous Adult Social Care law experience
Experience handling Court of Protection matters
