Freelance Accounting Team Lead Position.
About this position What will you do?
You lead a team of 10 finance professionals and are responsible for the correct and timely delivery of financial reports to external clients within the banking and insurance sector.
Specifically:
Responsible for IFRS and BGAAP reporting to external customers
Monitoring financial processes and risks within a regulated environment
Managing, coaching and developing a bilingual team
Optimizing and harmonizing financial processes
Acting as a point of contact for customers in reporting and improvement processes
Linking IT systems to financial reporting
You report to the Head of Finance.
Skills Who are we looking for?
At least 10 years of experience within the banking or financial sector
Proven experience in accounting and financial reporting (IFRS & BGAAP)
Experience in team management
Experience in a regulated environment is a strong asset
Strong analytical skills and insight into process optimization
Dutch or French speaking with good knowledge of the other national language
Strong knowledge of MS Office; SQL is a plus
Hands-on mentality with coaching leadership style
Proven experience in accounting and financial reporting (IFRS & BGAAP)
French speaking with a good knowledge of the other national language

Hours Per Week: 40
Onsite Policy: 2 Days Per Week
Language: French (Dutch is a strong Bonus)
