Job Description

Job Title: Anti-Social Behaviour Officer – West Midlands

Responsibilities:

  1. Investigation and Assessment:

    • Receive and respond to reports of anti-social behaviour within the community.
    • Conduct thorough investigations to determine the nature and extent of the anti-social behaviour.
  2. Communication:

    • Engage with residents, witnesses, and other stakeholders to gather information and evidence.
    • Maintain effective communication with law enforcement, social services, and other relevant agencies.
  3. Mediation and Conflict Resolution:

    • Facilitate mediation processes between parties involved in anti-social behaviour disputes.
    • Implement conflict resolution strategies to address underlying issues contributing to anti-social behaviour.
  4. Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with other professionals, such as law enforcement officers, social workers, and community organisations, to develop comprehensive solutions.
  5. Enforcement:

    • Implement enforcement measures, such as issuing warnings, notices, or working with legal authorities to take appropriate legal actions against perpetrators.
  6. Support and Prevention:

    • Provide support to victims of anti-social behaviour and help them access appropriate services.
    • Develop and implement preventive measures and educational programs to discourage anti-social behaviour.
  7. Documentation:

    • Maintain detailed records of investigations, actions taken, and outcomes.
    • Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external use.
  8. Policy Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and regulations related to anti-social behaviour.
