Job Description

For a client of mine, based in Antwerp, I am searching for a freelance Validation Engineer to work on the testing of their audio devices.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for management and handling of physical setups in the lab
• Calibrate test environments for acoustic test benches and set up technical measurements of hearing device properties
• Follow-up and reporting of continuous integration/testing status
• Investigate, debug and fix failing tests
• Define, automate and deliver new tests as project functionality gets developed.

Requirements:

• Hands-on knowledge and experience with electronics handling
• Experience and motivation in test automation
• Experience in Python scripting
• Experience with audio equipment/electro-acoustic measurement tools and calibration
• Knowledge of continuous integration practices and tools
• Excellent communication skills (English)
• Independent, pragmatic problem solver and pro-active team player
• Quality-minded, focused on details

Additional Details

START DATE: ASAP (6 Weeks Maximum)

DURATION: 9 Months w/extension

CONTRACT: Freelance

LOCATION: Antwerp, Belgium

ONSITE POLICY: 2 days onsite per week

HOURS PER WEEK: 40

LANGAUGES: English
