Job Title: Health & Safety Lead
Location: South Wales (on-site)
Contract Type: 3-Month Rolling Contract

Key Responsibilities
- Lead on all aspects of occupational health and safety across the college estate
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership and operational support to estates and facilities teams
- Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, RIDDOR, and ISO 45001 standards
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Promote a proactive health and wellbeing culture for staff and students
Essential Requirements
- Level 6 qualification in Health & Safety (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ)
- Proven experience in occupational health, including health surveillance and wellbeing initiatives
- Previous experience working in further or higher education
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
